Sweat the Small Stuff, Sweating for Health

Sweating has been used for centuries for health and wellness and it’s every bit as viable today as it was hundreds of years ago. The Native American cultures used sweat lodges for health and spiritual transformation and today’s health spas feature hot, dry saunas as part of a health routine. Sweating clears toxins from your organs, and helps your body’s systems (especially endocrine and cardio-vascular) to stay in shape. Just be sure to stay in long enough to really sweat, but not too long to cause dizziness or dehydration. Drink lots of liquids during and after.
