Second, whatever you begin in terms of green drinks, supplements, or herbal health products...you should begin slowly and with a very small dose. Then increase gradually while monitoring the effects on you and your child.  Green drinks in general should not pose a problem to breast milk when taken in small amounts. However, I would suggest staying away from green drinks that are high in detoxifying ingredients (which Green Shield is due to the clay) or those with exotic herbs. You might steer toward the green drinks that are formulated simply for nutrition.</description>
